@Robbservations2@consciousphilos This is a logical fallacy, an appeal to popularity. Just because the majority of any given society you exist in says “this is wrong” doesn’t make it true. You’re assuming everyone’s common goal is “well being” therefore relying on an objective “truth”. Circular thinking.
@TheProjectUnity You could make the argument that she doesn’t have access to cosmetic procedures and skin care so she’s looking a little rough, plus the inmate diet…but how was she able to get an upper bleph in prison? 👀
Assuming this isn't bait..
Projecting rigid ideologies onto animals reflects a failure of human perception. Dogs and cats demonstrate flexible, adaptive intelligence and a capacity for communication.
Maybe high-stress people gravitate toward cats because they mistake their pet’s cortisol-driven aloofness for “authenticity.” The cat’s stress response gets romanticized as feminine mystique while dogs’ genuine social attunement gets dismissed as manipulation. All just conjecture..
Framing conditional affection as more “real” than unconditional affection shows deep confusion about mammalian bonding: a well-fed, low-stress cat is affectionate.
The person who sees cats as reality checks on character is actually drawn to rejection as validation, a pattern that may start with emotionally unavailable caregivers.
What they call “masculine calm” might be emotional dissociation.
Narcissism is thinking your cat’s defensive territorial behavior reflects your spiritual worth.
@AphroditesShell I didn’t realize only irresistibly attractive people got raped. I was under the impression that it also happened to infants, children, senior citizens, men, and dead bodies. Interesting.
