What goes around, comes around. Tried to tell yall during Covid debates that the government's ability to pressure the media into silencing the opposition was bad...but nooooo, you wouldn't listen
Japan will lose almost a million people this year.
This demographic inevitably was set in motion half a century ago and has nothing to do with AI.
AI is the only hope for turning this around.
@JacobsVegasLife Top 3 reasons:
1. The Federal Reserve is printing a lot of money.
2. Wages are not keeping up with inflation.
3. Casino corporation's greed.
Being middle class in 2025 means:
A $1,200 rent for a 1-bedroom
A $600 car payment
$2,000 in monthly credit card debt
A job that hasn't given you a raise in 3 years
But sure...tell us inflation is "cooling."
So my wife is amazingly clean, OCD, and she haaates it that when I order something, I generally order three extra. I grew up in a remote area of South Dakota where there were no parts stores, no close mechanics, and if something broke you'd be all day on the road and back to get parts -- so you ordered extra as whatever broke today will probably break again six months from now and kill yet another full day of work.
In the heat of yesterday, our upstairs a/c stopped working. Lo and behold, last time I replaced a capacitor a few years ago, I apparently ordered three more (I'd forgotten) as the boxes were sitting right beside the indoor unit .
A/c back up and running in 10 minutes. No $500 hvac bill. No waiting for three days.
I am sooo rubbing it in :):). Ladies, love your hoarders :)
