i might be like the only person relieved at this. i have always disliked the thought of sega padding out the story just to keep the units around longer and ruining the story/what i loved about these characters in the process so it's reassuring that they have an actual finish line

I will b honest I think pmm was probably tsukasas lowest point in the story and I think he's probably gonna get better from here so I think it's feasible they can wrap his arc up decently

I feel like people don't understand what 'the main stories will be concluded' really means
It means the overall ARC is done. Mafuyu will be saved, WXS will know their futures, MMJ will be established and confident, leoni won't have unresolved conflicts, VBS will. uh. on top world

they're going about it in probably the best way they could to avoid dragging the story out but it's also a little sobering to realize that most characters have 1 story-relevant focus left
