https://t.co/j4FYuunrPG made a new website, advocating for laser phosphor displays. Let me know what you think. #Monitors#displays#cpu#gaming As noted on the website. It's all my own research/opinions. Just trying to advocate for LPDs for us gamers. Let me know what you think
@TheUnWohk@DesireeAmerica4 legally is most places you are to be in the right lane, the left lane is literally only for passing and that's it. That person in front can get a ticket for obstructing the flow of traffic (even if the traffic behind is speeding).
@DesireeAmerica4 I really wished repeated use of the left lane to lolygag around would suspend license. Legit - passing only or if you see someone either like you said speed up and get around other vehicle or slowdown a bit and merge to right lane .
@WinRAR_RARLAB I actually love that rarlab doesn't appear to have ever changed since I was a kid in 90's or whenever it came out, it always looked the same as far as I can tell and I love it! I hate newer websites today.
No, you learn dependance, there's a difference.
I was open to trying AI for awhile, until I realized, no matter what, I got super lazy, instead of writing good prompts i'd just keep pasting error messages over and over cussing it out until it got it right. Things I KNEW how to fix, but was just so lazy I wanted the AI to fix it.
This is when I realized I hated AI, then seeing people at a normal job (not tech related), but food related asking AI for safe temperatures for food so ya know - people don't get sick and die from food poisoning, literally asking AI for answers for some work test because they just ask AI for answer instead of knowing such a fundamental safety metric.
AA is a bandaid we need for trash LED technology. If we could just finally move on to Laser Phosphor Display technology we wouldn't need AA, super high Hz and stuff anymore, and even lower resolutions natively would look super sharp.
To be clear Higher Hz is always good lol. But impulse driven technology doesn't need the high hz to look super clear with motion.
Sorry on my initial comment, I just get super passionate about certain things my bad.
@timsoret@JockoJonson Lol that last part is funny. It only looks better because of shit like forced TAA, hell even DLAA is a joke.
Just give us MSAA and impulse driven displays and we never need to worry about that joke of a shit technology for a joke of LED technology.
@sousazone I can actually kinda agree with this, I used to race motocross and the I fondly remember my front wheel flipping forward after hitting what they call a 'kicker' and I remember thinking"Oh sh" and passed out before hitting the ground. (yes I didn't finish the word) lol.
@itsjustcornbro@CryptoCyberia Essentially your make the electron beam be more tight instead of opened and wide if that makes sense?
Think of a flashlight where you can make the beam more focused or open to view more.
Pretty much the same concept. Focus the beam more tightly.
@kurkosdr@ErwinVanhecke Not 100% true, HDD's are getting super cool again. While i'm not saying they are using the new stuff. There are reports now that one company has got HDD as fast as SATA SSD speeds now. Not saying that's blazing fast as M.2, but it is a step in the right direction.
@Apogee_Ent Super sad. I was just telling my dad earlier that it's honestly kind of unsettling to see photos from before and now and see how much has changed and the only difference between the two is time.
I hate wireless to be honest. Rather not ever have to worry about a charge. I hate my headset being wireless at times, but I spent like 500-600 dollars on it at the time. It came with two batteries at least and a charger so it's a little 10-20 seconds annoyance to swap. But a controller is something else, I can still play if I cannot hear at least.
That's so unfortunate they did that my friend.
Something tells me if they knew the history and how priceless all this stuff was they would have taken it too.
Drums can be replaced, the history that you and your team cannot. The memories, etc.
I'm glad to see you're still doing okay man, I still have that stuff you did for me, it's still in the box, the game is in a protective sleeve at least on my shelf. But all the other stuff is still in the box being preserved.
Yeah bro what? lol. I most certainly had tv and consoles and pc in my room as a kid and yes we had internet, started with dialup then to dsl then to cable and finally decades later on fiber lol.
You obviously didn’t grow up in the 80, 90s or 00s lol. And if you did you had shit ass parents who didn’t let you live a little.
I never met a single person who put consoles in a shoe box when done lmao. They literally just sit there with the newest console being used.
When you say budget what do you mean by that? Please don't ever do the cloud networking things, not because it cost money every month, but because there's literally no way to prevent cheaters at all. That will be your next problem there.
Make your own solution using Sockets. Yes it will take time, but you can at least control everything at that point.
@valkeritos@vortensis@RedGamingTech They are useless actually. Just get an impulse driven display and no longer need more than 60 FPS LOL. LED is such grabage trash that it needs to be at 1000+ Hz with a GAME also going 1000+ FPS to be the same as an impulse driven display at 60 Hz at 60 FPS for motion clarity.
