Well my time @unimelb has come to an end! What a privilege to get to work here for 2 years with great supervision from @rjeckard. I've made so many great new collaborations including @FriedlJohannes & @RowlingsDavid at @IFE_QUT and @Degleeson & Belinda Martin at @SAgE_UWA.
@DebSahas Really sorry I missed your reply! They are standard food containers fitted with SubaSeals (from Sigma). They do stay air tight but you should do some checks in your own design to ensure they stay air tight after modifying the containers for the seal. Good luck :-)
Today was the last sampling point for this intact #soil core incubation looking at spatial variability in #GHG emissions from dairy pastures. Early data looks v. promising! Next to look at what happened with the soil microbes🧐...
My second blog piece about my experiences as an @MSCActions fellow is now online. Hopefully useful to anyone interested in applying for the scheme! #ECRchat https://t.co/UqUDSFQVns
Pleased to say I @Dr_K_Marsden will be presenting a poster on the @N2oTarget project in the GGAA 2019 conference in Brazil. Will also be presenting a talk on previous @UplandsN2O project. Anyone else on here going? Look forward to seeing you there if so.
Read my blog piece to hear about starting my Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship. Could be useful for early career researchers considering the same? https://t.co/oHIvdlNCVn
Busy day in the field yesterday setting up the auto #GHG chambers in Casino, New South Wales! Great to get the system up and running... will #soil#N2O emissions be higher around the gateway? @RowlingsDavid @FriedlJohannes @Dave_Chadwick_
Busy setting up the projects first field trial for my research visit @QUT . We will be investigating efficacy of nitrification inhibitors to reduce #GHG from emission hotspots in intensive dairy farm #soil@Dave_Chadwick_
