🚨 On the eve of the #HowWePride match between the Islamic Republic and Egypt at #WorldCup2026, remember Mahan Mardani.

Mahan, 23, was a master’s student and futsal and football goalkeeper. On January 9, he returned to the streets after saying, “I am willing for thousands like me to be killed, as long as this country becomes free.”

Security forces chased him to his front door and shot him twice as his mother and sister watched.
