45. The Mobile Quarantine Facility (MQF) was built by NASA to ensure that any contagions brought to Earth by the astronauts on the Moon were isolated until they were cleared. This was to prevent the spread of the possible contagions.

41. Once the LM docks with CSM in orbit around the moon, Armstrong and Aldrin will return to the CSM. The LM and CSM will separate and a transearth injection will put the CSM on route to Earth #Space2090

40. Here’s how it work. The PAI has two critical phases: Vertical Rise Phase to achieve terrain clearance and Orbit Insertion to achieve proper orbit conditions that allow for rendezvous. #Space2090

35. The Passive Seismic Experiment being carried out on the Apollo 11 mission is studying the propagation of the seismic waves produced during lunar “moonquakes” and data from this experiment will provide scientists with information about the Moon's internal structure. #Space2090
