The situation in Gwadar and the entire region is extremely critical right now, with millions of lives at risk.

We have been sitting in a peaceful sit-in for the past eight days. All our demands are constitutional and legal, and we have been in continuous negotiations with the government regarding these demands. But why are the Frontier Corps (FC) and state secret agencies continuously using violence and power against peaceful protesters? Journalists, political activists, and human rights organizations should question who issued and why these orders for straight firing on peaceful protesters during negotiations.

1. While we were negotiating with the government through the mediation of All Parties Gwadar for the past four days, on whose orders were peaceful protesters in Nushki suddenly fired upon on August 2nd? As a result of this brutality, one of our friends was killed, and several others were injured.

2. We repeatedly assured the government and administration that the Baloch National Gathering was just a one-day event. We would give you in writing that this gathering would be peaceful on July 28, and people would leave afterward. But on whose orders were the roads blocked? On whose orders were people in Mastung and Talar fired upon? As a result, several people were injured. On whose orders were hundreds of people arrested?

3. Despite all the obstacles, when we reached Gwadar and were about to hold our peaceful rally, on whose orders was the rally site fired upon? In this barbarism, one of our friends was killed, seven were injured, and more than 200 people were arrested.

4. When we sat in a sit-in against this barbarism and oppression in Gwadar, presented only two simple demands and invited the government for negotiations, on whose orders were an MI personnel sent to kill us that evening? On whose orders did the (Frontier Corps) FC attack the peaceful sit-in the next morning instead of negotiating, subject people to violence, and burn several vehicles?

5. On whose orders was a curfew imposed across the Makuran region, roads blocked, shops and markets closed, and a crisis-like environment created against a peaceful sit-in?

6. Who are the people repeatedly issuing orders to kill our leadership during the sit-in, continuously threatening, harassing, and trying to provoke us?

If you genuinely want to understand the current situation in Gwadar beyond the narrative of the Pakistani mainstream media and the war profiteers sitting in the parliament of Balochistan, you should consider these questions.
