@OpenUniversity The OU has helped me fulfil completing my degree flexibly as a full time apprentice while being Mother to a toddler, a partner, running the household and beyond! Thank you 🩵#resultsday
Yes, another wild Saturday night typing away. Second to last assignment underway to finally become an RN. Feeling proud to have come across a leading change case study on patient safety by @clairearowley - definitely one for my reference list (may need to anonymise mind)
All packed and ready for my first RNDA placement on smallfield ward tomorrow. Looking forward to going back to care of the elderly as a student nurse and applying knowledge learnt from AMU over the past 3 years and hopefully making a difference to a patients journey.
@janedickson111 @sashnhs Sorry to hear & see you go @janedickson111 - a wonderful chief nurse with patients and staff in mind always. Thank you for your support and encouragement over the years. Good luck for your next adventure!
“A lot can change in a year” isn’t this the truth! Officially back to work - paperless, extra patients & lots of new colleagues. Feeling so welcome & supported by my team & thankful for the digital team being so kind sharing tips & tricks!
Me again! Resumed my RNDA course with the OU last week. Accrued annual leave begins in a few weeks and then back to work in January. Enjoying the last few months of being just “Sienna’s Mummy” and all the happiness and joy that comes with that.
Just me & my 12 week old 😱 they call me “Sienna’s Mummy” which is the most amazing thing in the world to hear - I do miss being Nursing Associate Shelby - going back to work is bitter sweet but we’re a little way off yet! Hope everyone is well 💙
Managed to get some petrol today in #merstham after waiting patiently since Sat - had 1 mile left at the pump. The lovely owner who is always so friendly was telling me how rude people have been to him and it just upset me so much - they are working extra hard please #BeKind
@AnnaS033@OpenUniversity Thank you Anna! It’s for 18 months however I am due a little girl in February so it will take me a little longer ☺️ Hope you are well! I saw you have moved on - all the best for your new job! ❤️
Hi everyone, hope you are all well! I really do need to be more active on here. As of Sunday I/We (🤰🏼) will be an @OpenUniversity registered nurse degree apprentice!
