Vijay’s actions recall the early years of MGR’s rule.There is a French saying that an old elephant, merely because it knows every direction and scent of the forest, should not underestimate the arrow of a newly arrived archer.

Vijay does not have a political family surrounding him. During the first two months of his administration, the government has taken several notable steps against bribery and corruption. People are also saying that demands for bribes have declined in many government offices. This is a good beginning.

At the same time, it is difficult to morally justify retaining within the party individuals such as Vijayabaskar, who face serious corruption allegations. In later years, increasing election expenses gradually pushed the AIADMK toward a system in which selected businesspeople were encouraged and party funds were collected through them. Even then, the public continued to believe that MGR would not use public money for his personal life.

MGR was also determined that the stain of dynastic politics should not fall upon him. This became one of the strongest foundations of his position as an almost unbeatable Chief Minister in modern Tamil Nadu’s political history.
This pattern is not limited to Tamil Nadu. Across India, voters have repeatedly rewarded leaders who maintained a reputation for personal integrity and avoided dynastic succession.

Four Chief Ministers who remained in office for around two decades shared this common feature. Pawan Kumar Chamling governed Sikkim for 24 years. Naveen Patnaik governed Odisha for 24 years. Jyoti Basu governed West Bengal for 23 years. Manik Sarkar governed Tripura for 20 years.

None of them carried a direct stain of personal corruption in their private lives, and none openly promoted dynastic succession in politics. Narendra Modi, who has now spent more than two decades serving as Chief Minister and Prime Minister, also possesses this political weapon.
To understand the opposite pattern in Tamil Nadu, one may compare the overwhelming victory secured by the DMK in 1971 with the overwhelming victory secured by the AIADMK in 1991.

Free speech allows criticism, not threats of violence. Under BNS Section 351-1, criminal intimidation involves threatening harm to scare or coerce someone. Section 351-3 allows up to seven years’ imprisonment if the threat involves death or serious injury. If there’s credible evidence, police can investigate.

BNS Section 352 may apply if the speech risks a breach of peace, while Section 353 applies if false or alarming information caused fear or chaos.

DMK-BJP alliance becoming possible

A few months ago, DMK projected itself as one of the strongest opponents of BJP’s delimitation proposal. #DMK leaders warned that it could reduce Tamil Nadu’s political representation and organized campaigns against it.

Now, #DMK’s language appears to be changing.

Instead of rejecting the proposal outright, @arivalayam says it will examine the bill and consider supporting it if Tamil Nadu’s parliamentary representation is protected. It is also signaling that its final decision may not automatically follow Congress.

Koyambedu congestion is real, but your political story is not supported by facts.

The same evening bottleneck was officially reported in January 2026, months before CM Vijay’s government. Illegal private bus pickups, government buses leaving CMBT, pedestrian crossings and poor flyover planning were all identified as causes.

Private buses were already operating under Madras High Court directions issued in 2024. Their May 2026 request for wider Koyambedu operations is not evidence that CM Vijay or Minister Parthiban gave them a free pass.

You have also provided zero evidence that CMVijay travels through Koyambedu every day or that his convoy creates this daily congestion. Give the date, time and video.

You are mixing two separate matters to manufacture a political narrative.

TTV Dhinakaran filed a complaint alleging that TVK used a forged support letter in AMMK MLA S. Kamaraj’s name. At that stage, no FIR had been registered; police said a preliminary inquiry would be conducted. TVK later released a video showing Kamaraj voluntarily signing the letter. Kamaraj subsequently supported the CM Vijay government in the Assembly and publicly denied any horse trading.

Yet you blindly accept every allegation made by an opportunistic politician like TTV Dhinakaran without demanding evidence.

Vijayan was summoned as a witness, not arrested or declared guilty. If you believe the TVK government misused police power, produce evidence and approach the court or the Human Rights Commission. Journalism is not immunity from investigation, and social media accusations are not proof.

CMVijay today conducted a surprise inspection at the M.C. Raja Social Justice Hostel in Saidapet after students raised serious complaints.

The reported issues included poor hygiene, delayed and low-quality food, inadequate basic facilities and allegations of bribery in hostel administration. CM Vijay directly inspected the kitchen, rooms, toilets and other facilities and interacted with the students.

Social justice is meaningless when disadvantaged students are forced to live without dignity. Identifying failures through direct inspection and holding negligent officials accountable is real governance—not governance from an air-conditioned office.

Before calling me brainless and mocking my PhD, first understand one simple difference: whether a plan can succeed and whether an illegal act was attempted are not the same question.

Nobody said that one MLA’s vote alone would immediately bring down the government. The allegation is that ₹35 crore was offered to influence an elected MLA’s vote as part of a wider political attempt. Reports also said the investigation involved several people and multiple arrests.

Your argument is: “One vote cannot topple the government, so the entire case must be fake.” That is not intelligent reasoning. A failed or incomplete plan does not mean no illegal attempt was made.

Section 8 of the Prevention of Corruption Act deals with giving or promising an undue advantage to make a public servant act improperly. The law does not require the bribe to succeed before the matter can be investigated.

Section 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita deals with criminal conspiracy. When two or more people allegedly agree to carry out an illegal act, that agreement itself can be investigated. The final plan does not have to succeed.

So the point is simple:

One vote may not topple a government.
But offering money for that vote can still be a serious offence.
A plan can fail, but the alleged crime does not disappear.

My PhD taught me to separate evidence, logic, method and conclusion. You took one fact, “one vote is not enough,” and used it to declare the entire case fabricated before the investigation was completed.

Mocking my education does not repair your broken logic. I believe you are the one who is brainless here, because you cannot even understand the difference between an unsuccessful political plan and an alleged illegal attempt.
