Bingo. This is where I can't give Stone a pass. Its a fireable to me. If you draft guys you should heavily invest in developing them. They all not gonna be able to power through it and be good.

By hiring Ime first and not a Kenny Atkinson. I feel like a Kenny would’ve been a good coach who provided structure, but also taught these young guys how to play basketball. I don’t think they do - all they know is “play hard” no understanding of role/limitations/team play.

I think an area people are missing about the rockets is also the lack of development. I like the talent the rockets came out with in the draft, I just don’t think they had the right developmental coach (offensively- which is where Ime is lacking) and just skillset.

Rockets are lacking. These players drafted are largely the same…just older. They never really fixed their flaws or look like doing so- so their ceiling just feels capped. I honestly would get rid of Ime first before the players. I always thought the rockets were skipping a step.
