For @bballbreakdown from Houston's pinpoint off-ball switches vs Golden State to Boston scramming vs Cleveland, the postseason collectively offered a lens into switching principles & the discipline required to pull them off

@jackfrank_jjf JVG is great, and idk why people rail on the tangents as long as they’re not excessive. You need those lighter moments and think how many tangents occur in a real life convo
This utterly insane! The spatial awareness and body control, whew. Absolutely incredible
Chase down blocks are undeniably awesome, but this is considerably more impressive IMO
Giannis could have like 15 assists in this game if MIL could make even a 3rd of their open 3s
Having only one knockdown shooter is just tough to grapple with (and even Middleton doesn’t have the quickest trigger by any means)
These PHX off-ball actions are pluses for two reasons
1) Getting thru screens is a weak pt for otherwise good MIL defenders (Tucker, Giannis)
2) Disrupts MIL gap help principles (which is a MIL staple)
@MyronSaysWhat@NekiasNBA Absolutely. Been great defense efforts, but that’s what makes those guys elite is they’re ability to make tough shots
Props to the defense. Props to the shot making. You’re allowed to give both
Jrue’s offense is very hit-and-miss, but basketball media should be mandated to make a sidenote of appreciation for his defense
Dude is forcing one of the best ball handlers in the world to consistently just give up trying to dribble around him
D Book shotmaking has just been incredible!
MIL D has been very good, but stars are stars bc sometimes it just doesn’t matter. Book’s been a stone-cold killa
