Over the weekend, I was invited to deliver a statement as the Country Manager of @SEforALLorg at the commissioning ceremony of the IEC in Fogbo. It’s a landmark achievement in expanding access to clean, reliable and sustainable energy for all Sierra Leoneans in rural communities.

Closing out this month with pride at the Expert Group Meeting and Ministerial Conference in Freetown ahead of the West Africa Integration and Investment Summit #WAIIS2026 taking place in December. This two-day event reinforced the critical role of energy trade and access.

I had a productive meeting with #Nigeria's Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun.

Discussions focused on strengthening partnerships, securing large-scale financing and building an inclusive and resilient economy that creates jobs at scale.

Today is #WomensDay and I dedicate this day to the mothers of #Chibok, whose daughters were taken in the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapping in 2014 which started the #bringbackourgirls movement.

Despite unimaginable hardship, they continue to rise with strength and resilience.
