@DanNeidle You make a good point. A major contributing factor is the freezing of the VAT threshold at £85k since 2017. With inflation, £85k in 2017 is worth about £110k today and with the VAT threshold frozen for another 2 year, it’s bringing businesses into VAT that really shouldn’t be.
