13.1 there are so many ways I use social media for education - for example were using social media for our audit assignments and our whole gened this semester, and I use social media a lot for information on many topics and classes #GNED1411

@cnichclarke I agree with you on this. I think it is a nice time away from using our phones by being in a classroom setting.

13.3 I think social media in the classroom can be beneficial if people are mature enough and can follow the rules of when to use their phones and when not to. It can be a distraction for some for sure but I think it is something that you have to take a chance with. #GNED1411

13.2 I find that social media in classrooms is becoming more common now a days. For example, a lot of professors/teachers are incorporating using Kahoot to get the class to be engaged by doing a quiz on there. Another tool would be doing virtual classrooms as oppose to in class..

13.1 I have used social media a lot for educational purposes. I have used YouTube for presentations in regards to certain videos that are relevant to the topic I am presenting about. Google is definitely my go to for many things when it comes to searching on the web! #GNED1411

@AnnamarieGNED I agree. I think social media is a great resource when it comes to education especially when having to do research or write papers; it provides relevant and informative information that is beneficial for all!

@stephyogi03 I agree with you. I find if others are seeing their friends are liking and sharing something, they often will read about it too and then will share/like it for their friends to see.
