13.1 #GNED1411 Other than this class, I can’t think of anything specific. I used a instagram poll once to find people’s opinions on a topic for a project but other than that, nothing.
14.3.3 #GNED1411 With what I have learned I am looking forwards toward bettering my own person social media accounts and using it to help me understand other people’s logic begins their thoughts on social media
14.3.1 #GNED1411 the most surprising thing I learned is actually how many different platforms there are of social media, some that I had never even heard of or considered social media
14.2 #GNED1411 I think some sort of TV and Movie viewing platform will emerge, something like a combination of Netflix and Instagram, and I also think in a few years Tik Tok will peak and then be shit down just like Vine was.
14.1 #GNED1411 I can only imagine what type of social media will be created in the future. I think the business side of social media will have grown immensely and i think extravagant features will be added to platforms.
13.3 #GNED1411 I don’t think it’s beneficial, personally since I use social media as a way to distract myself from school, I wouldn’t want to use it every day in the classroom.
13.2 #GNED1411 i think following certain news feeds on social media could be beneficial, but other than that I see social media as a distraction since that’s what a majority of people use it as.
#GNED1411 12.3 I think activism on social media would make a real difference if EVERYONE contributed. Or took part in something because they actually cared, not just because they felt pressured because everyone else was doing it.
#GNED1411 12.2 The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is an example of activism on social media. This was a challenge in 2013 where people dumped buckets of ice water on their head to bring awareness to ALS! this trend lasted quite some time and raised a lot of money and awareness!
