The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)-2026 of 14 Manipur Battalion NCC, Imphal concluded successfully on 25 Jun 2026 at Khuman Lampak. Over 10 days, cadets underwent PT, drill, firing, drone training, personality development, tent pitching, sports & cultural activities.
65 Manipur Girls Batallion NCC started Combined Annual Training Camp at Sainik School imphal location .The Camp being conducted from 17 Jun 26 to 26 Jun 27 for the Cadets of Imphal Valley. The Camp is a day and night camp & such a Camp has been conducted after gap of 03 years.
Smt. Laishram Sarita Devi, Superintendent of Police (Sports), World Champion Boxer & Arjuna Awardee, visited the ongoing CATC of 14 Manipur Bn NCC at YAS, Khuman Lampak. She interacted with NCC cadets, inspiring them to uphold discipline, fitness and leadership.

Following road blockages after the NER NCC Flying Camp in Manipur, cadets were safely airlifted by the Indian Air Force using two AN-32 aircraft, with coordinated planning by MoD and NCC NER Dte Shillong. A swift, joint effort ensuring cadet safety and showcasing true commitment.
In the true spirit of jointmanship and commitment towards the safety of youth, 132 NCC cadets attending the NER Flying Camp at Imphal (11–20 May 2026) are undergoing emergency evacuation to Guwahati & Jorhat by the Indian Air Force, amidst the prevailing security situation and restrictions on road movement.
The evacuation has been planned by NCC NER Directorate in consultation with @HQ_DG_NCC and in coordination with HQ Eastern Air Command. The swift and timely action ensured that the cadets safely reached their destinations in time for their examinations, bringing immense relief and happiness to their parents. The NCC cadets have also conveyed their heartfelt gratitude for the care, support and timely assistance extended to them.

In the land of rich football culture and fearless young talent, a new journey begins — the first-ever EKTA CUP Under-17 Boys Football Tournament, proudly organized by NCC Group Imphal under the aegis of the NER will be starting from 22nd May.
The National Cadet Corps has commenced NER flying Camp 2026 at Imphal International Airport wef 11 May to 20 May 2026. Cadets got firsthand exposure to powered flying. A significant initiative in cultivating aviation awareness, discipline, and leadership among the youth.
NCC North Eastern Region Annual Awards 2025–26 were held on 05 May 2026 at the Rhino Auditorium, Shillong Cantonment, marking the culmination of the training year and celebrating excellence across all NCC Group Headquarters of the region.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Wailadmiki Shylla, Hon'ble Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare of Meghalaya and Maj Gen Anurag Vij, ADG, NCC NER in the presence of Group Commanders of all nine NCC Groups, Officers from Units across NER, and distinguished awardees. Special Guests included Shri Samir K Jha, DGM, SBI Shillong and Maj Gen Rajiv Nanda, SM (Retd), Defence Banking Advisor for NE States SBI.
These annual awards recognise outstanding achievements of cadets, Associate NCC Officers, educational institutions, Girls Cadet Instructors, NCC Units and NCC Gp HQ of Seven Sister States of NER, fostering excellence, healthy competition and the spirit of Unity and Discipline.
