Francis Su gave the first Keynote address for #ncctm2024.
“Students have natural abilities and dispositions-virtues- that we grow, nurture, cultivate so that they can flourish, experience, wonder and joy, and take responsibility for the world around them.”
Rolanda Baldwin from @unboundedu asks “What happens to students when only a select few are recognized for their excellence, leaving others behind?” and is pressing us to think about our policies, practices, and structures that support EACH student to flourish.
So, I did a thing yesterday… and it was amazing!! I was honored to be selected as a featured speaker for #NCCTM2023. A huge thanks to the educators who attended my session.
Thank you #NCCTM2023 for the opportunity to lead conversations around the theme “Be Bold: Championing Access and Equity for Each Student”. The leaders of mathematics were fully engaged and developed strategies for moving the needle in their math classrooms. Let’s get it done!
We are excited to be attending the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics conference on November 9-10 at booth #107 - Will you be there? Send us a message and let’s connect! #ncctm2023@NCCTM1
First presentation is in the books! Thankful for educators who are trying to #ChangeTheStory about math instruction and helping students own their learning. @NCCTM1#NCCTM2023@CTLGConsulting
