The Traditional Latin Mass is banned in another parish- this time in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. This is a slow rolling persecution of the faithful and very vibrant communities. This is why so many people and bishops are pressing the Pope to reexamine the legislation promulgated by Pope Francis that unleashed this liturgical warfare in the Church. Those who want sing alongs and hoe downs in their Masses have no shortage of options. But finding the ancient Mass of the Saints is all but impossible in many dioceses. It is now endangered species.

The Historic Mass after the Nagasaki Bombing.

The atomic bomb that fell on Nagasaki on August 9, 1945, detonated only 500 meters away from the Immaculate Conception Cathedral while a large Mass was being held. The cathedral was completely destroyed. The US Military knew this in advance and dropped it anyway.

As the Feast of the Assumption of Mary was near, Mass was held on the day and was well attended. The collapse & heat-wave cindered and buried all those present in the cathedral. This film takes place almost four years after the horrific attack.
