Jan 18th, when Biden is still in charge. Not Jan 22, when Trump will sic the National Guard.
The time for an anti Trump march was November 5th. At the polls.
May I say a word for the Democratic Party for all its faults?
It is the Republican Party that nominated Trump three times, that gave way to Trump, that supports and enables Trump.
The Democratic Party in opposition could have done better. But at least they were in opposition.
@RadioFreeTom Find it fascinating that folks who spent 4 years chanting F Joe Biden and calling their opponents libtards are stunned and aghast that the objects of their vitriol might have formed some opinions about their moral character.
Tens of millions of people believe Bill Clinton is a liar, a sexual assailant, a draft dodger, a criminal, an all around scoundrel unworthy of the office of President of the United States...and just voted to reelect Donald Trump, enthusiastically.
No Democrats didn’t abandon the working class. The Biden/Harris administration was the most pro-working class in recent memory. The problem for Dems is that policy results don’t lead to electoral benefits https://t.co/pdcY9cUA7h
Joe Biden will be president until noon on January 20. The Democrats will have the Senate until January 3. Both need to step up to the plate. Biden needs to flood aid and weapons to Ukraine, pushing the envelope on his legal authority. The Senate needs to work night and day to confirm every judge to district and appeals courts where openings exist.
Democracies don’t know how to use power in the 21st century—and maybe it’s part of the reason voters are so unhappy with them
We can beat any challenge—and achieve Ukrainian victory—if we have the will to
My thoughts from the Future of Democracy forum:

Everyone (on my, losing side of the aisle) is asking "can America be saved from Trump."
I have a better question: Is America worth saving?
My latest in the @thenation arrives at the conclusion that America deserves what's about to happen.

@ElieNYC@rolandsmartin@thenation I’m not sure America is worth saving.
I’m not sure Twitter is worth saving. It’s all Trump minions & Russian bots.
Would love another country to migrate to or at least another app lol
The most angering and jarring part of this whole saga is that #DonaldTrump will get away with crimes, and violating all of our norms as a civilized nation of laws. Trump is a criminal. #JackSmith and others having to let him walk away scott-free should offend, and enrage us all.
Technically Joe Biden can fire Merrick Garland right now and appoint Jack Smith as acting AG and go after Trump with the full force of the current federal government we all voted for four years ago but he won’t do that because that’s something Republicans would pull.
Couple things on my mind today:
1. Thank you for everyone who knocked doors, donated, wrote postcards, etc.
It might not feel like it today, but you did good.
2. I know folks are going to want to disengage for a bit. That’s OK. Just don’t give up. This fight still matters.
Today would be a good day for Biden to lift restrictions on the use of our weapons by Ukraine in Russia. Putin is not going to use a nuclear weapon two months Trump comes into office. No way.
Andrea Mitchell asks if Democrats should think twice about nominating a Black person or woman.
Juanita Tolliver let her have it. She asked, why are you asking Democrats to modify their behavior and not asking white women to modify their voting behavior?
