Proud of our officers @PeelPolice — especially our CIRT teams at 22 Division — for taking a loaded unauthorized firearm off the streets of Brampton. Our officers around all divisions continue to do great work.
Strong leadership and teamwork keeping our community safe.
Absolutely fantastic work by all the involved officers, an excellent example of how technology #ALPR#ASU is being leveraged to keep our community safe. Well done by all @NChhinzer@ChiefNish@Hiltz1847@DC_Milinovich
As part of the command overseeing our CIRT team, I want to echo the prev tweets while thanking our community & all levels of gov't for their cont'd support.
Our officers worked tirelessly to take dangerous drugs/a firearm off our streets — making our neighbourhoods safer for all
Peel Police’s CIRT team has taken over $1 million in dangerous drugs, a loaded handgun, and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition off our streets through Project Winner. This community-driven pro active policing investigation began with a resident’s tip. Well done @ChiefNish and @PeelPolice!

Through this Project Winner operation, @PeelPolice have taken more than $1 million worth of dangerous drugs off our streets — including crystal meth, cocaine, fentanyl, and other highly addictive substances that destroy lives and families. They also seized a loaded handgun with an extended magazine and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition.
Let’s be clear: this is not just about drugs or guns — it’s about saving lives. Every gram of fentanyl taken out of circulation represents a potential overdose prevented. Every illegal gun seized is a tragedy that never happens.

Our Community Intervention and Response Team (CIRT) in action! Project Winner was a drug trafficking investigation resulting in significant results:
•Over $1M in illicit drugs, including cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine
•A loaded handgun and 1000 rounds of ammunition
Illegal drugs and guns have no place in our communities. @PeelPolice will continue to crack down on this kind of dangerous behaviour and hold those responsible accountable.
Great work from our officers at 22 Divsion CIRT!
At @PeelPolice, more than 100 of our members have served — or continue to serve — in the military. That shared spirit of service reflects a legacy of courage, duty, and commitment.
This morning, I attended the Sunrise Service at Meadowvale Cemetery Chapel in Mississauga, and later joined the City of Brampton’s Remembrance Day ceremony with Royal Canadian Legion Branches 15 and 609.
Today, we honour the Canadians who made the ultimate sacrifice — and all who continue to serve our country and communities with pride.

Proud to have been part of the @SevaFoodBank family for much of their incredible 15-year journey.
Their continued commitment to Guruji’s path of Seva and to supporting the communities we serve is truly inspiring.
Quick work by 21 Division investigators identifying and apprehending this accused for Attempted Murder, amongst other charges. Unfortunately he was already out on multiple forms of release (bail) for prior offences, including a violent robbery @ShelleyPRP1997
Community safety issues don’t exist in isolation and neither does our response.
Our 2nd Annual Community Partner Engagement Day brought together community leaders to collaborate on how and where to implement change. Aligned with our Community Safety and Well-being strategy, we believe the future of policing is built with the community.
So thankful to the over 50 community partner organizations, elected officials and Peel Police Service Board for their attendance today - just another way @PeelPolice is policing differently.
At @PeelPolice, we take great pride in responding to the evolving needs of the communities we serve. This funding allows us to continue investing in the tools and resources our officers need to address crimes and incidents that deeply impact residents.
With a dedicated Hate Crime Unit and enhanced mental health supports, we are strengthening our ability to make Peel safer and more resilient.
Thank you to @ONGov, @Charmomof5, @BramptonGraham & @MppGualtieri, and our Peel Police Service Board, for your continued commitment to public safety.
Thank you to Brain Prill, his team and all the wonderful volunteers that came out to show support for @PeelPolice@peelparamedics@BramptonFireES at today’s First Responder Appreciation BBQ. Great food and even better people, Thank you
Great to drop by the First Responder Appreciation BBQ along with @DeputyAndrews.
This is the initiative of local churches and Brian Prill to show our love to those that serve our community. We have the best of the best first responders in Peel. @PeelPolice@Peel_Paramedics@BramptonFireES
We are grateful to them!
Outstanding collaborative police work by @PeelPolice 22 Division Investigators and @wpgpolice MCU to track down these two dangerous criminals and hold them accountable for their actions. We are relentless in the pursuit of those who endanger our communities @ChiefNish@NChhinzer
A heartfelt thank you to the Greenway Retirement Community for the warm hospitality & delicious lunch today (@PeelPolice appreciation day).
Our officers truly enjoyed connecting w/ residents & staff. Your kindness & appreciation mean so much 💙 #CommunityPartnership#ThankYou
This is another example of the great work being done by our frontline officers, taking illegal firearms out of the hands of criminals and off our streets. These are 2 of the 15 crime guns seized so far this month alone, and over 100 so far this year #CSWB@ChiefNish@NChhinzer
