After his brother Kolby hit a home run in his last at bat for Georgia, Kyle Branch homers in his final at bat in Omaha for Oklahoma. You gotta love baseball

A week ago our H.S. players were competing in front of 800-1,000 fans with a season on the line.
Last night they were playing a 16U travel game in front of about 20 people, 0 energy and no pressure.

For all the slander that gets said only about opposing teams online, I think us in the media need to include the good we see on the field (which is way more than the bad.) I watched last night as #Sandburg head coach George Fear shook hands in the line post game and told every Mount Carmel kid & coach there to "go win it!" Class act.
