Former Late Night host Stephen Colbert’s massive West Hamptons oceanfront vacation home is now a pile of ashes after his rooftop solar panels caught fire and took the entire $20 million property with them.

County Fire Inspector Art Tubolls didn’t hold back: “Those panels weren’t even close to up to code.

Whoever installed them should be ashamed of themselves.”

Public records show there was an open permit, but no certified installer ever came back for the final inspection. Colbert apparently hired a bunch of illegals on the cheap to slap them on the roof… and now his house is gone.

The inspector even said:“I hope he wasn’t planning on submitting this to his insurance. I guarantee you the illegals he hired on the cheap are nowhere to be found.”

This is the same Stephen Colbert who spent years lecturing Americans about climate change, green energy, and how evil fossil fuels are… while his own virtue-signaling solar panels just torched his multi-million dollar beach house.

Go green, go broke. Go woke, get burned.

Colbert can cry about it on his failing show all he wants. His house is gone, his cheap illegal labor is long gone, and his insurance company is about to tell him to pound sand.
