Excited to announce Oxtak is launching in Japan today! Starting July 6th, our standalone AI voice recorder and personal assistant will be available through TNL Mediagene GIZMART https://t.co/Zo7fhIbhvR This marks a major milestone as we bring privacy-first AI hardware to one of the world's most innovative markets. A little over a year ago, I registered Oxtak in Hong Kong after a simple realization during a meeting: the audio recording was the proof, yet I didn't want to share it with multiple smartphone apps or Bluetooth gadgets that could access my data. The only trustworthy solution? Build a truly standalone Wi-Fi device that runs and connects exclusively on our platform adding extra security layers to the “Trust No One!” process. We teamed up with Gladia for their zero data retention Speech-to-Text model (which turned out to be the world's most accurate!) and added real-time translation capabilities. We demoed it at CES, signed our first distribution agreements, and have been building strong B2B integrations ever since.
It's still the very beginning for Oxtak, but today feels like a big step forward. Huge thanks to the team, our partners including ARM, Gladia, LeaguE, Gizmart, and many more for the support along the way.
