On Day 2 at the NJCAA Track & Field National meet, Teriq Goodman and Mia Ruiz ran season bests in both the 100m and 20Om. Janelis Uviedo ran a pb in the 100m hurdles. Aivyn Privitera turned in 3 strong races. Maci Abbatessa was 9th in the javelin.

On Day 1 at the NJCAA Track & Field National meet, Maci Abbatessa broke her own school record in the hammer throw set earlier this season, with a new personal best of 34.55m (113-4). She finished 9th overall. Also with a 9th place finish was the women's 4x100m.
The Knights kick off their time at the NJCAA Track & Field Nationals today at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY.

In the last meet of the regular season, Derick Pierre Paul hit the national meet qualifying mark in the high jump, clearing 1.80m. Pierre Paul will represent the Knights for the second consecutive year at the NJCAA National Meet in May. 🔥
In the last meet of the regular season, Teriq Goodman hit the national meet qualifying mark in the 200m with a huge personal best of 23.02. Teriq will represent the Knights at the NJCAA National Meet in May. 🔥
At the CCSU Invitational, Derrick Pierre Paul reached an NJCAA national qualifying mark in the high jump (1.80m). Teriq Gooman (23.02) and Aivyn Privitera (23.45) each earned an automatic qualifying mark in the 200m. They will represent the Knights in 2 weeks in Utica, NY.
At the CCSU Invitational, the women's team placed 9th out of 14 teams. Maci Abbatessa was 8th in shot put and javelin. The 4x100 relay team finished 4th. Janelis Uviedo broke her own school records in both the 100m hurdles (19.88) and 400m hurdles (1:16.57).
The Lady Knights competed in the 4x100 relay for the 1st time in the program’s history. The team of Rachelle Torres, Mia Ruiz, Estephany Lizardo, and Janelis Uviedo clocked a time of 57.78 in their first ever attempt, & punched their ticket to the NJCAA national meet in 2 weeks.
On the men’s side, Adriel Rosa Sanchez ran a personal best in the 200m (24.06). Aivyn Privitera earned his third national qualifying mark, this time in the 400m hurdles (1:01.76). Teriq Goodman was strong in the 100m (11.7). Derrick Pierre Paul showed improvement in the HJ.
At the Sean Collier Invitational, the Lady Knights competed in the 4x100 relay for the 1st time in the program’s history. Maci Abbatessa was 6th in shot put. Mia Ruiz ran a season best in the 100m (13.58). Janelis Uviedo was strong in the triple jump and 400m hurdles.
The men's relay team of Milton Garcia, Teriq Goodman, Adriel Rosa Sanchez, and Aivyn Privitera hit the national qualifying mark in the 4x100m relay with a time of 45.43. They will represent the Knights at the NJCAA National Meet in May. 🔥

On the women's side at SNHU, Maci Abbatessa was 10th in the shot put, recording a season-best throw of 10.78m (35'4.4"). Mia Ruiz improved her 200m time to 28.06, while Janelis Uviedo shaved a second off her previous 400m hurdles mark. Uviedo and Rachelle Torres shined in TJ.
