I’m giving credit where credit is due. Imagine losing your boyfriend that you adore, two kids that you cared for, a job that you loved, a house that you worked your entire life for, a car that you just bought, a license you earned, a retirement you built, and your reputation.
Now imagine a well connected crime family that thought you would be an easy target to use as a cover-up for an accidental murder of a man they could’ve cared less about. Watch them scheme, lie and brainwash the family of the victim in order to take the heat off of themselves, not caring how much of an impact this would have on the defendant, either family involved, the innocent niece and nephew, the burden to the citizens of Norfolk County, or the ultimate justice for the victim.
Every scoundrel involved in covering up the actual incident has kept their job or retired with full benefit, kept their families intact, and continued to live their lives without consequence and very little inconvenience.
The town of Canton remains a corrupt, incestual community where the powerful families still pretend to be normal mom’s and exaggerate their friendship with the victim, while using the court system and law enforcement as their shield from scrutiny no matter the cost.
Fired investigators, lost sick time, transfers, demotions… but the head of the beast is still sitting large as DA, calling all the shots through a corruptible judge who has compromised her integrity more than once to throw a bone to the prosecution.
Through all this injustice and unfair persecution, I have yet to see Karen Read lose her mind. Instead of crying victim, she has said that this is her purpose. She is here to expose the tyranny in the system, and she has embraced her role in it all.
Karen did not kill John O’Keefe. But when this is over, she will have absolutely murdered the nepotism and unlawfulness of Norfolk County. God save the Commonwealth…. With the help of Karen Read and her supporters.
Juror 18 keeps staring at the reasonable doubt big board. Juror 10 hasn't stopped looking at Alan Jackson and has a look of concern and shock on her face. Juror 14 (the youngest juror by far) and 12 keep (one of the older jurors) going back and forth looking at Jackson and the big board. Juror 15, right in front of Jackson, is intently listening to every work Jackson is saying. Juror 1, 2, 11, 5, and 9 also intently focused on Jackson. The only juror who doesn't seem impressed by him is juror 6.
How is every lawyer in Massachusetts not up in arms about what transpired with Hank Brennan and Judge Beverly Cannone today? Why isn’t the Massachusetts legal community holding Cannone accountable for her bias and corruption?
