A great day at Solo and Ensemble festival today at @NWMOSTATE we had a large crew this year and each worked hard and improved so much since the beginning of the year! I'm so proud of them! We have 3 more events later this afternoon and results will be available soon after!
Video isnt anything special, but @NEN4thgrade grade is learning to feel vibrations in their chest vs in their head for the first time and I think they're shaping up to be a pretty good choral group!
I am excited to announce our Elementary Musician of the Month for Oct! He worked really hard the last few weeks to be his most musical self! Thank you for all of your fun ideas! We celebrated with a dance party and music from the NEN Marching Bluejays @NEN1st_Grade@NENartists
Fenton is the Musician of the Month for October! He has really been showing up prepared, energized, motivating, and encouraging other people to step up to their own potential! To see him, as an 8th grader, really step into his own is remarkable! Thank you for you hard work!!!
I forgot to post this!!! Last week we announced our elementary Musician of the Month and it was Jennifer!!! How exciting! Thank you for all your hard work!! The band celebrated in the classroom with a dance party to party rock anthem!
@NEN1st_Grade had centers planned but our TA wasnt here until the end of class because of a meeting. So we played some fun games - one was listening to sounds and finding the correct inst. When Kolby walked in - we HAD to hear what the saxophone sounded like in real life!
When its hot out, I PREACH about these things but still hold high expectations for these kids...I feel like it goes through one ear - out the other then 7 grader posts this to our Band App! At least I know someone is listening! This completely made my day!!
First time playing in 5th and 6th grade band OFFICIALLY this year. Its been a slow start but we made it and this year is going to be a good one!!! They learned their first 3 notes! We are discovering that its not easy, but well worth it! Im so very excited!!!
