Patriots are getting in at the right spot of these runs and end up picking two of my favorite players at OL and DE.
Good job by Wolf and company using their draft capital.
The NFL Draft should be one of the ultimate two-screen experiences... but the monstrous delay makes people choose between having the picks spoiled or eschewing Twitter altogether.
it's like the TV producers slept thru the meeting where the NFL changed the time between picks to 8 minutes
these guys are WAY behind and the draft just started
absolutely embarrassing display
BREAKING: The #Patriots are signing DL/LB Dre’Mont Jones to a 3-year, $39M contract, per sources.
Jones was with the Titans and Ravens last year — notching career-highs in sacks (7) and pressures (55 pressures). A big add for Mike Vrabel.
4. Clean up Maye's few remaining deficiencies. Sacks are sometimes on the OL, but better decision making around eating the ball or throwing it away is needed.
5. Smart contract extensions. Gonzo should be at the top of the list.
One year ago, I wrote a tweet entitled "10 ways to to un**** the Patriots."
Mission Accomplished.
Instead, the Patriots have five main things to accomplish so they can return here again next year.
1. Solidify the OL in FA and the draft. Campbell belongs somewhere. Unsure about Wilson.
2. Acquire an elite Edge rusher. Trade / FA. Maxx would be phenomenal.
3. Find another WR that can separate consistently. Trade, draft or FA.
The Seahawks are a wagon. Congratulations to a deserving team.
Patriots are a work in progress (especially the o-line) but one that is at least a year ahead of schedule.
Easy to be excited about the future in New England, even if the present is a little disappointing.
Defense playing well. They will get a turnover and perhaps a score eventually.
Up to the offense to score once on their own and keep field position positive in the second half.
