Nebraska is one of just two states that has yet to provide choice to its families and children.
Not every kid learns the same, and our children deserve to have the best education for them. Nebraska legislators, this is the year: put kids first and advance school choice.

BREAKING: Nebraska Senator Justin Wayne (D) again calls out his colleagues for sending their kids to private school while opposing school choice for others.
2021: Nebraska Senator Justin Wayne (D) tells his colleagues he'll vote against the school choice bill if they agree to send their own kids to public schools.
"A petition drive is underway that would give the governor substantial oversight of K-12 schools in NE. The sponsors aim to replace the NE State Board of Education, education commissioner & Nebraska Dept. of Education w/ a new Office of Education accountable to the governor."
"OPS has some full-time bilingual liaisons, but students and their families speak more than 100 different languages. And more than 18,000 students have received English Learner services at some time while at OPS."
"South High students are still shaken by what they saw in the lunchroom Wednesday. There are multiple videos showing the moments when one girl apparently attacked another over a cafeteria table. Another angle shows a student attacking the girl with overhand blows."
BREAKING: Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts issued a statement urging their state board of education to push back on recent direction from the U.S. Department of Justice to the FBI.
"School officials are adding security to meetings, reducing the time that people have to speak, cutting speakers off mid-sentence and sometimes even escorting them out for violating rules or decorum."
