The motion that so many NPYW members spoke on was about increasing the voice of new professionals and young workers in education and the NEU. The motion was amazingly passed unamended, which will finally see NPYW members on parity with other sectors. Such a success ✊

A review into Ofsted's response to the tragic death of Ruth Perry absolutely has to be carried out by someone INDEPENDENT of Ofsted.

Otherwise, it won't have the trust of the profession, nor will we have faith in the process.
