The RNC has filed a lawsuit in our state to prevent certain voters who were born overseas from voting. Many of those affected will be children of service members.
See Chair @janekleeb's statement on the ongoing tactics by Republicans to maintain power.

The Republican National Committee and two Nebraska voters are suing Nebraska over a state election law they say violates the state constitution by allowing U.S. citizens who have never lived in the state or country to vote in Nebraska elections.

Fun Fact: Republican think tank The Heritage Foundation found since 1999 there were 77 cases that undocumented immigrants illegally voted in our federal elections versus billions of votes. That's about .00000000678% risk of fraud.
FYI there was only 99 cases since 1982 according to the Heritage foundation.
138 Republicans illegally voted in 2025 election.
My taxes show $342 for Sarpy County Public Safety.
And yet here is one of ‘my’ deputies patrolling trump’s folly.
Perhaps we need to rethink both staffing and leadership in the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office.
Intimidating tourists for a crazy person’s whim is not okay.
#BREAKING: Hayes: “Acting AG Todd Blanche told Congress not to worry about the $1.8 billion slush fund for insurrectionists…The DOJ then told the court the same thing—don’t worry, it’s moot, it’s dropped, and then last week, the judge said okay, fine, put it in writing. She ordered Blanche and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and an associate AG to all sign ‘a declaration under the penalty of perjury, they will not take any action to create or operate the anti-weaponization fund and that the anti-weaponization fund will not proceed in any manner or under any name.’ Well, today was the deadline for that and guess what? They came back to the court and they said no, we’re NOT doing it. We’re NOT filing any declaration to officially kill the fund, which probably means the slush fund is NOT dead.”🙄🤦♀️
Mayor Zohran Mamdani defends his endorsements of Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier, condemning recent attacks from Espaillat’s camp on the latter.
“One thing I do want to make clear that I find unacceptable is the attempt to use the term Haitian as a slur,” he says.
Only hearing about this today, but if these shameful, despicable attacks against @DarializaforNY are indeed occurring @EspaillatNY needs to condemn it publicly & instruct his campaign workers and/or volunteers to friggin STOP.
This ain’t how ANYONE should try to win this race.
A federal judge on Monday ruled the Trump administration acted unlawfully when it created a centralized database that contains Americans' private information, which she said has since been used by some states to incorrectly remove U.S. citizens from their voter rolls. https://t.co/8duQeohEgs
Donald is so desperate to never admit failure, even on something as small as the reflective pool, that they’ve started ARRESTING innocent people.
This is insane
Trump is proudly holding American national security hostage by demanding to attach the SAVE Act to FISA.
The SAVE Act is the worst anti-voting rights legislation he’s ever dreamed up. And he's threatening our national security just to disenfranchise millions of Americans.
The U.S. military was charged $4,361 for a half inch metal pin that costs $46.
Why? Defense contractors—with ties to private equity—are raking in excess profits.
Instead of cracking down, Trump's DoD is inviting private equity to be MORE involved in our national defense.
Whoa. Politico reports that a PAC that spent $435k to oppose John Cavanaugh in the #NE02 primary got all of its money from Conservative Americans PAC.

Anyone else still outraged that President Trump managed to get immunity from IRS audits for himself, his family and his businesses?
And he did it by suing and settling with his own government.
It's so blatantly corrupt we don't even know where to begin...
Nebraska CD01 nominee Chris Backemeyer helped negotiate the landmark 2015 Iran deal. His opponent Rep. Mike Flood has remained silent about the Trump Iran deal that makes payouts in excess of $300 billion to the terrorist regime in Tehran.
In Nebraska’s 2nd District, a Republican -funded PAC named Lead Left, spent $435,000 to oppose state Sen. John Cavanaugh, who lost to political activist Denise Powell. #NE02
