According to a 2018 study of PWC, every year there are 100 Billion avoidable costs in Europe for being notFAIR with RDM. In contrast, the #NFDI is funded with less than 100 Million per year. This amounts to less than 0.1 percent. We should seriously discuss this!

@NFDI_de Indeed harmonization across all disciplines is mandatory. What is the plan for the #NFDI who gave herself the by-law of an academy of digitalization while major parts of Germanys academics are left without RDM after the third round? There is a big question mark here.

Dabei bedarf es einer Integration aller gesellschaftlichen Kräfte in die Sektionen des Staates. Durch eine Allianz des Infrastrukturausbaus und der Normung mit der Wissenschaft kann ein ethisch und gesellschaftspolitisch breit verankerter FAIRer Umgang mit Daten gelingen.

Das Expertengremium sieht einen "innovativen Impuls" durch das "sehr gut positionierte Konzept der FAIR Digital Objects". Eine Förderungsempfehlung für unseren in der Physik sehr gut rezipierten Antrag ergeht nicht. Ein Großteil der Physik in D bleibt damit ohne FDM.

Weiterhin erscheint eine Diskussion über die Einführung eines rechtstaatlichen Widerspruchsverfahren bei der DFG zeitgemäß, angesichts des Innovationsdruckes und der Notwendigkeit der zeitnahen Positionierung Deutschlands für das 21. Jahrhundert mit flexiblen Strukturen.
