recently working on song identifying tool on the website, still has some false flags but i hope to bring it next month; tried to post it on miserable website known worldwide as facebook but it was muted which makes no sense in this case
@Zakon_BY@twinter_moment@Evano_EAB eh, thing here is - it was used in "behind the scenes" trailer - https://t.co/Kg5hWQic8T - and since i collect this trailer info stuff, user might end up with a perspective of it being in the game, while it's just in trailer; i should improve that one day
@ThePoshoGuy@racinggamesmusi there's like 38k songs in the database, so excluding some mess and weird stuff you'd end up with probably 33k-34k to choose from
@racinggamesmusi@ThePoshoGuy it's completely random, so no surprise if some Umamusume stuff popped up recently; you can always look up archive of "song of the day" as it slowly keeps growing
@halofreak_61@racinggamesmusi Yep, with Tourist Trophy being potentially the only one that exactly answers the question, as ProStreet Pepega is a mod of the game, and Wipeout 2097 is a separate music release - https://t.co/oUQtg0xigz
@YellowFantom@racinggamesmusi Well, then only Tourist Trophy counts from the list, ProStreet mod is just a mod, Wipeout 2097 appears because of separate music CD that has some tunes that are not in the game. DriveClub and Sonic game are there just because of Spotify "wishlist" of what devs like to listen to
@LeXXXusGucci FYI: I managed to go through the files and add majority of the music to the list. There's still a couple of songs to identify (or match with the credits list provided by the devs).
@LeXXXusGucci Hey, so for your info - current information on the page is based on some gameplay videos from several months ago. Very likely these songs are also in the final release, but I still haven't had time to check the game (or even buy it in first place) to get the full list of songs.
Seems Google indexed website with that weird 445 protocol causing lot of folks to get connection refused. I tried to fix that on the server with redirects and dedicated "old" domain, hopefully indexes will pick it up.
@McPants04@DoVe_7YT I have the same feelings towards it (even if you can use the original soundtrack) but I'll have to finally try this Pepega Edition.
Whenever I try to contact devs (especially in audio department) of some older racing games, I feel like I'm wasting someone's time asking for 10+ or 20+ years stuff.
@drewhamster No worries, I'm running this site by myself indeed but I don't worry about people requesting various things in not so gentle manner. I also added some labels indicating whether there are any upcoming or updated games on the website.
Another update - if the game was updated recently on the website or there is some 'coming soon' game on the website, you'll see these labels indicating that
@drewhamster I finally made some steps towards your idea - for now, there is a dedicated "changelog" page showing what was changed on the website. In near future there will be some kind of indicator for series / games that were added or updated.
@drewhamster Hey, thanks for your kind words. So far I haven't introduced any "changelog" to easily trace what's changing on the website, but you're not the first one to ask - I'll probably introduce something to show updates to the website. For now some updates are shared via Discord server
Updated the main page a bit - by default you get that list of game series on the left side, and the icons for music services are smaller to stop it looking like some scam. The changelog is added - I hope the mobile version is still working fine as I didn't really test it much
