WTF is @thehugxyz?

HUG is the most inclusive destination for blockchain-curious artists and art lovers. Our mission is to democratize access to art through technology and education.

We are building a social marketplace (think Facebook meets Etsy!) for artists to sell digital & physical goods together, while also helping them build one-of-a-kind connections with both current & prospective collectors.

Today, over 1,000 artists from 70+ countries have HUG Artist Profiles - the ultimate tool for artists to get seen, shared, and celebrated.

Our main goals are:
✨ Build collector management tools to help artists reach their collectors in spite of the algorithm. From next week onwards, you'll be able to follow your favorite artists, and we will also be automating information about new drops minted through Manifold.

✨ Help our artists get their work into the real world - to date, we have showcased our artists everywhere from Bali to Brooklyn, and everywhere in between.

✨ Build commerce for artists, not flippers. This means allowing artists to sell all their work, not just NFTs, through a single checkout. We are piloting this with an @amber_vittoria capsule collection in July.

✨ Provide accessible education such as our weekly newsletter, Creator Royalties, and artist residencies that provide complimentary minting support and marketing workshops, while allowing for creative collaboration.
