Following the government's announcement today raising the thresholds for APR/BPR, NFU President Tom Bradshaw (@ProagriLtd) thanks the Labour and opposition MPs who have voiced the concerns of their farming constituents and lobbied for changes to APR/BPR proposals.
Today, NFU Vice President @Robyn_Munt attended the launch of @nfum 's 2026 Rural Crime Report in Parliament. It was a good opportunity to speak to so many MPs and Peers to hear how rural crime is affecting their constituents and discuss how we can work together to tackle it.

NFU President Tom Bradshaw welcomes the announcement that the fuel duty rate on red diesel will be cut by more than a third from 15 June until the end of the year.
Extending the freeze on fuel duty has also been a key ask of the NFU in response to rising costs from the war.
Thanks to @JoshNewburyMP for asking the PM to protect farmers from increasing costs due to the conflict in the Middle East. We were pleased to hear the PM announce duty on red diesel will be temporarily cut, reducing cost pressure on NFU members.
