What those arguments "selling cheaper on other stores" is they want the exposure steam brings, selling the game at higher price there, while offering it lower somewhere else - so they get advertising from the biggest PC market store front while selling somewhere else where the cut is lower, but where the exposure is minimum.
@GeraltofGoonia "If it lives up to what we are hearing" which it did not, so no problem here. I have fond memories of Fable and we will see how this one performs.
Why not hope the game is good and delivers?
Nothing. No need for virtue signaling. She was paid what was offered, she agreed to and she was done after 20 days. Company I work for make millions, should I be entitled to some percent of them because I'm part of the whole process?
If she was promised some sum and she didn't get it sure, we can stand behind her, but just because movie became blockbuster level of success doesn't suddenly mean you are entitled to money you haven't either been promised or contracted to.
They are taking this route because they know how much the social media echochamber loves to prech against AI and any use of it is met with most fearsome of blabbing.
People can't distinct the use of AI in something like CoD which has genAI to sold you skins and GenAI to speedup development.
I understand the moral of the story in such cases, but the overall concensus is if it has AI (no matter how its used, trained, etc) its bad.
Curry and Co brought in 750K to made the movie and paid everyone. Curry presented the movie at TIFF, sold it to Universal for 15M. From there the movie was Universal's so they took all risk and burden of distribution and marketing.
So if anyone has to pay some nonsense bonus because of virtue signaling to the Art Director is Curry from his 15M, as he sold the collaborative work of others to Hollywood.
@MeReachingout@gothgfdotrip Oh I think we are on the wrong foot here. I'm not arguing in their favor, but agains the current signaling for some "deserved" bonuses
@MeReachingout@gothgfdotrip And he sold the movie for 15M to Universal. So the crew should ask him for percentage of the collaborative work they all did and he sold.
Movie costed 750K
Curry sold the movie for 15M to Universal/Focus
Universal Focus from then spent another probably good 25M+ on P&A so total costs for them got close to 50M total before even releasing the movie.
Movie is on track to gross 300M+, with theatrical rentals and so, Universal is looking at 80 to 100M+ in profits (maybe more).
Being so fucked up by the scary woke, that now you are being afraid of single colors. I know you are afraid of the combined colors of the rainbow, but by single color is a new achievement.
If this was a satire, might have been funny, but we know you guys are this retarded.
Here is a picture that the Earth is signaling you to be gay
We know who we are talking about here, but so you know, rather than reposting him, or replying under his commends, if you want to engage, screenshot w/o his name and make a post so you don't give him any engagement directly, as all this nonsense is for clicks and not to make a point
If 007 sold 3.7M in first week, instead of 2.7M currently, the goalpost was going to be moved to why it failed to reach 4M copies.
@YorchTorchGames Yorchi, you are fucked up in the head if you are scared of rainbows.
Nothing interesting here, not even Yorchi farming engagement cuz of that low life
