@KatrinaCBurnaby@JM_Whiteside@karinagould I hope there are savings coming for the many families who can’t even get a spot in a licensed daycare and must use a nanny/nanny share instead at a tremendous cost. I sent an email a while back with ideas and proposals to consider to create more licensed spaces.
@AmericanAir It was a domestic flight to Dallas first. Your agents even said we were there with enough time and it wasn’t our fault at all and that was we should have made our flight but they are short staffed. We were there almost 3 hours early.
@lexadelgay@ItsRaniiiii I’m sorry you’re experiencing this still and can totally sympathize it affecting your mental health. It’s 2/5 of our senses gone/altered. This needs to be talked about more and not downplayed. It’s horrible!
@meenasandhu@cbcnewsbc@DrBonnieHenry I’m glad I also got mine when pregnant and then when breastfeeding, as did a number of my friends (and some of them are doctors).
@NEWS1130 @EmmMacfarlane @fatimabsyed@thebigstoryfpn Can we stop calling them “vaccine passports” and call them what they’ve been called for years prior to Covid, immunization records?
@jewelbo A Covid test taken 72 hours prior to departure can change. My family member was exposed on a Thursday, flew on a Friday, their symptoms started on the Saturday. 😬
@cbcnewsbc I have family members in the States who are fully vaccinated but tested positive this weekend. One asymptotic and the other very sick. A negative Covid test should still be required to enter.
@adriandix@DrBonnieHenry@jjhorgan Us pregnant people are still waiting for you to prioritize us as clinically vulnerable as we are 5x more likely to end up in ICU.
If you are pregnant I am begging you to get the covid vaccine. The only young, healthy women in our ICU have all been pregnant. Every single one. They crash harder and faster and with worse outcomes than any other patient group I've seen. Please get the vaccine.
@adriandix@jjhorgan@DrBonnieHenry When will you be adding pregnant people to BC’s clinically vulnerable list? Other provinces have done it. What’s stopping you? Pregnant people are 5x more likely to end up in the ICU.
Ontario announces pregnant people can now register for COVID-19 vaccination appointments. Pregnancy is now included among the 'highest risk' category in Phase Two of the province's vaccine rollout. Previously, pregnant women had been in a lower-priority category.
@adriandix I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. When will you be adding pregnant people to the clinically vulnerable list? They are 5x more likely to end up in ICU, 2x more likely to die. Ontario has done it, why aren’t you?
@dc_scafe @cbcnewsbc I am so very sorry for your loss. Thank you for advocating while you carry your own grief. I agree that care is way more hands off during the pandemic compared to my 2017 pregnancy. My last in-person visit was at 20 weeks at my next won’t be until 30. I know I’m not alone in that
@MiguelCanovasn@BCGovNews@jjhorgan It certainly appears that way. Even from a cost prevention POV, much cheaper to vaccinate than pay for a patient in ICU on a vent and a preterm baby in the NICU.
@CPHO_Canada Pls advocate for pregnant people to get added to the clinically vulnerable list. The latest statement from the Society of OB and GYN of Canada states that it’s incredibly dangerous for us and our unborn babies.

@JustinTrudeau It’s irresponsible that pregnant people haven’t been added to the clinically vulnerable list. Please review the latest statement from the Society of OB and GYN of Canada. This is incredibly dangerous for us and our unborn babies.
