@heidi_mp The issues in Haringey are more complex than your tweet suggests. Haringey residents and ordinary Labour members are fed up with Claire Kober and her Cabinet not listening to us, hence the de-selections. That's democracy.
@ClaireKober It's right to fight for pay rises for lowly paid council workers but some of Haringey's senior managers are paid obscene amounts of money. Why don't you restructure Haringey's pay levels: pay the lower paid more and the top lot less?
@peterjohn6 We do have alternatives to the HDV but the only problem is that Claire Kober and the Labour Group ignore them. They consistently ignore hundreds of critical responses to their so-called "consultations" on housing and regeneration. Hence the recent Cllr de-selections
@peterjohn6 @redhumbersider @ClaireKober Hi, we have lots of alternatives but the only problem is that Claire Kober and the Labour group don't want to hear what we say. They ignore hundreds of public responses to their own consultations.
@2billiongamble The Mayor of London's Housing Policy consultation ends on 7 December. Please write and ask for 1. more social housing at social rents built, 2. more homes to rent at social rent and 3. more safeguards for private renters.
@StopHDV I would not trust all 35 to vote against the HDV because some of them were in favour of the HDV in the past and have opportunistically changed their views in order to avoid deselection but I am hopeful!!
@crouchendlabour Why do the 3 sitting Cllrs imagine that they should not be deselected when they supported the June 2017 in-principle decision to sell Highgate Library and support the HDV? You no longer represent us - that's democracy at work.
@crouchendlabour@Jason_Arthur@natandoron@SarahElliott02 The current Crouch End Cllrs have let us down by supporting the in-principle decision in June 2017 to sell Highgate Library and by supporting the HDV. They no longer serve local residents but prefer to serve Cllr Kober.
@Jason_Arthur@lindasgrant@natandoron@UKLabour Sorry you don't like being deselected but that is democracy at work. That's what happens when you support right-wing policies like selling Highgate Library and the HDV.
