The EPA under @epaleezeldin has proposed accepting the modifications to the Clean Air Act SIP; in other words, they propose to modify the rules to ensure that NH is not plagued by the sticker scam again!

Federal EPA is setting up vehicle emissions inspection checkpoints in New Hampshire. Any vehicle not displaying a valid inspection sticker will be stopped and an OBD2 scan conducted. Any vehicle that does not pass emissions test will be subject to a $1000+ fine.

A federal judge just denied New Hampshire's motion to stay a court order that would force the state into a contract the Executive Council rejected.

The Council has existed since 1679. For 350 years, no state contract moves forward without our consent. That doesn't change because a federal judge says so.
