Thirty years ago today, the Oakland/Berkeley hills were on fire. Many folks in our community were here and remember; many more have heard tales and seen videos - and with the fires of today, share the safety concerns of those who lost so much. Last Sunday's Community Comeback 1/

Today, we came together as a community and honored those that we lost during the Oakland/Berkeley Firestorm, this month, 30 yrs ago. Thank you to the North Hills Community Association for organizing the, “Community Comeback: Picnic at Lake Temescal” event. We shall never forget.

Firetruck fun! This Sun., Oct. 17 at the Community Comeback: Picnic at Lake Temescal event, there will be firetrucks! We expect at least 2 rigs to pull up to the event (& maybe more) - local firefighters will be onsite to enjoy the day & honor those lost in the '91 fire, and 1/
