This was a huge research impact moment for us! Big step forward in making real what parents have told us is missing but would make a huge difference.

Since Late 2022, Adam,Rouilly has been working with the SUCCEED Child Feeding Alliance in Australia.
In July, SUCCEED hosted its first pilot of their Nasogastric Feeding Tube Training course, which included the use of our AR331 Hungry Manikin Paediatric Feeding Trainer. The session was crafted on the back of six years of qualitative research plus more than a dozen bespoke interviews with families, speech pathologists, nurses, dieticians, and doctors to make sure the course is credible, useful, and safe.
The top quote of the day was from a participant who was incredibly effusive about the session’s usefulness. She said: "When I watched it [tube feeding] I was very comfortable but when I did it, I was immediately overwhelmed. By the end of the session, I knew I could do it". Co-founder @drcelliot stated, “This has just reinforced to us the importance of the mannequins and the hands-on experience that they provide”.
Congratulations to the SUCCEED team for their amazing work, we’re very excited to see the launch of their course next year! To find out more about their work and receive updates on SUCCEED’s progress, visit: https://t.co/A7Ho0Srn6H

I just learned that 'analyse' comes from Greek: ana (upwards) and ly (free). So to free things up - I think that's something I often struggle to feel, when there's a pressure to find ways to converge and confirm. I will come at the data with a 'free things up' aim from now on

Less ‘prestigious’ journals can contain more diverse research, by citing them we can shape a more just politics of citation.
