BEA SCHOLARS LINGERING PLIGHT AND OTHER STUDENT CONCERNS
The Bileteral Education Agreement (BEA) Scholarship is a scholarship that Nigerians benefit from to study in countries like Russia, Morocco,Hungary,Egypt etc.
For many months the scholars have not been paid their stipends by the government causing them untold and unthinkable hardship.
This issue has not gained the needed attention and is very unfortunate indeed.
I and @NANS_Diaspora will be hosting a space where we will speak with the President of @NANS_Diaspora and some of the students affected by this issue.
Other speakers that will join us to discuss this matter are: @SamdGreat01,@BelloGaladanchi and @olumuyiwaayo .
Please get ready to join us to speak and raise awareness on the challenges faced by the BEA scholars amid other student concerns in the diaspora.
Make a date with us.

Heartbreaking news. Let's come together to support a grieving family.
On February 12th, 2024, Jide's beloved wife succumbed to a prolonged illness—a sudden lung problem that deteriorated rapidly and required life support.
Jide's wife and their two boys had relocated to the UK in December 2022 to support him during his academic pursuits and seek better opportunities for their family.
Tragically, her health deteriorated, leading to her hospitalization on December 18, 2023.
Despite her brave battle, she peacefully passed away on February 12, 2024, after being on a life support machine for over a month.
Please contribute what you can to help with the burial expenses.
Every bit counts. 🌹💔
