It's time for the war to end and for the hostages to come home. That’s why we signed onto a letter calling for “an immediate cessation of hostilities in Gaza and the release of the Israeli hostages followed by diplomatic action to reach comprehensive regional peace and security.”
1/ Some good news in dark times:
After seven years, the High Court of Justice accepted our petition submitted together with @Yesh_Din and the residents Ras Karkar and Deir 'Ammar against the illegal construction by settlers at Nabi Aner https://t.co/8zxUvGy76H >>
Israel's Cabinet approved, and a ceasefire with Hezbollah in Lebanon will take effect at 10:00AM tomorrow morning.
There should be nothing preventing such an agreement from being signed with Hamas in Gaza which would bring all our 101 hostages home and finally end the war.
Thrilled to announce the moderators for our upcoming events with @omdimbeyachad! @DebWhitmont , @SallyWarhaft & @danielhurstbne bring a wealth of knowledge, experience & sensitivity. Tickets for are selling fast! https://t.co/f0rNrwe7UA

Listen to hosts @sally_abed and @ShusterNoam interview Mohammad Kundos, principle of one of Israel’s only Hand-in-Hand bilingual schools.
A beautiful, inspiring interview.
The Hostages Families Forum bows its head in mourning for the murder in captivity of Ori Danino, Almog Sarusi, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Alexander Lobanov, Carmel Gat, and Eden Yerushalmi, may their memory be a blessing.
These six hostages, kidnapped alive on October 7th, were later murdered while in captivity.
They could have been reunited with their families if a deal had been reached earlier.
Following the horrific events of October 7, the violence unfolding in Israel & Gaza has continued to loom large globally. This event looks at the basic concepts of international law & how matters before ICJ/ICC are playing out on campuses in Australia. https://t.co/4xR48HAX1G
This is a welcome development but with 16 outposts established in this year and 5 legalised in June alone, so much more needs to be done to fight against the entrenching of the occupation in the West Bank.

The Australian Government has imposed Magnitsky-style targeted financial sanctions and travel bans on seven Israeli individuals, and targeted financial sanctions on one entity, for involvement in settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.
We stand with Einav Zangauker, mother of hostage Matan Zangauker & this year’s NIF “Truth to Power” recipient, in demanding the Netanyahu govt reach a hostage deal. “The people want the hostages home, and there is a majority in the govt & Knesset for the deal on the table!"
