Over a month ago, the Iranian regime no doubt thought, as did the Iranian people and most of us, that we were assembling our mighty military forces to strike the regime with lightening fast, overwhelming force with the intent of destroying the regime for its monstrous genocidal crimes against humanity — and, finally, we’d put an end to this terrorist death cult.  All the talk was not about if we act or leverage or negotiations but when we’d have our forces in place.  We watched as the USS Abraham Lincoln and the other assets were moving and positioning.  They’re there.  Ready and able.

How things have changed.  Of course, there’s the possibility the Iranian regime will overplay its hand during these negotiations as it did in June.  Many believe that’s the plan — that is, to show they can’t be reasoned with. But why is such a plan necessary?  And if there’s some deal, FWIW I’ve already explained a deal with this regime isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. In the end, they will not honor it. They are replaying North Korea’s tactics.

Patience may be a virtue most of the time but after half a century of dealing with this death cult, I’d say patience has been a disastrous excuse.   There’s a time for action. And thanks to the courageous Iranian people and the incredible Israeli and U.S. armed forces, the regime is weaker than ever.  If, in fact, our military is set and ready, then get Khamenei!  The sooner the better!

Let’s not save this medieval Iranian terror regime with self-defeating and ultimately suicidal negotiations and diplomacy. America First means the end of a mass murdering fundamentalist regime and its relentless religious and ideological pursuit of nuclear weapons and intercontinental delivery systems to exterminate the American people.  Why would we risk such an outcome with a barbarous and illegitimate regime that has committed its resources for its entire existence to mass genocide? A paper agreement of any kind with “the Supreme Leader” isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, and everyone knows it.  It won’t change the Islamist mindset, just play into its strategic and tactical intentions — which it repeatedly and openly declares!  

Thank God we have the wherewithal to defeat this evil today.  And if we do not, under the delusion of peace in our time, our children will pay a grave price for our failure.  As will the poor souls in Iran, who are being butchered by the tens of thousands in real time.  Delay means death to these wonderful people. 

Let’s end this. Now is the time.  The stars are aligned. America is the only country that can do it, given most of the West has already failed its own citizens. The continent of Europe has been largely conquered by the Islamists and is flailing if not frozen, unwilling if not incapable of their own domestic self-defense. President Trump is the only leader who can do this.

After the horrific murder of more than 6 million Jews in the Holocaust, the world vowed: Never Again.

Collectively, we committed never to stay silent in the face of pure evil and never to allow innocent civilians to be slaughtered on an industrial scale.

Right now that is exactly what is happening in Iran.

The world has a moral imperative to put the concept of Never Again into practice and to act decisively to defend the brave people of Iran.

#Iran's regime wants a JCPOA-like deal. It is highly unlikely Khamenei will agree to the terms America is demanding because it would basically amount to a form of regime change. But the Islamic Republic will try and lead the U.S. on to think it will negotiate meaningfully to avoid an attack and entrap the U.S. in endless negotiations. It's a waste of time.

That's not to mention that the Iranian people who have been protesting are watching all of this and would perceive a deal to bolster the regime at their expense.
