Our Principalโs Book Club selection is Donโt Trust Fish! by Neil Sharpson. Through this shared campus wide read, students will practice making inferences, analyzing authorโs purpose, and identify persuasive elements. Sure to be a hit! ๐
New stories=new words! Weโre so excited about our NEW word wall in the library! Every time we discover a new vocabulary word in a story we share, it gets a spot on the wall. Watching our words and our readers grow is one of our favorite parts of reading together! ๐๐

Our students were hooked by the true story of Inky the Octopus, an incredible real life escape artist! They loved discovering how nonfiction can be just as thrilling as fiction, and now theyโre eager to dive into more narrative nonfiction reads.
