Born in April 2023, "Naija Crypto-Canvas : The Nigerian Artistic Surge" set out to shine a light on a new generation of Nigerian artists and to explore the bridges between the physical and the digital in the age of blockchain.

“An art gallery, an exhibition and truly a movement, #NaijaCryptoCanvas is a celebration of Nigerian talent in the blockchain age, a beacon of artistic diversity and universality allowing collectors to explore and appreciate in a ‘phygital’ way the expanse of both Nigerian traditional and digital art.”

Over the years, many gifted artists joined this journey, alongside a few curious and passionate collectors. Twenty-nine unique works, now forever minted on the blockchain within the dedicated @foundation World, stand as lasting testimony to the richness and diversity of Nigerian art in Web3.

From now on, the project enters a new phase. After having accompanied it with sincerity and passion since its inception, it is time for me to step back and leave this World in the hands of the artists I had the honor of meeting along the way. They will retain the possibility — today, tomorrow, or even ten years from now — to add new works to it. With curation fees set at 0%, this space will remain open to them, as a living archive of their contributions.

Thus, Naija Crypto-Canvas is not only a completed chapter; it becomes a living and evolving testimony to Nigerian creativity in the blockchain age.

My heartfelt gratitude goes to the artists who lent their voices to this project, as well as to the collectors and supporters who stood by its side.
