Not sure people really understand the scale of what Milley did - when he betrayed the Afghans and dragged the American flag through the dirt, he also disgraced the ideals for which that flag stands. In Afghanistan today, people are not inspired by the idea of being free because the light of freedom for the world betrayed them, slit their throats & handed them to their enemies. Then we abandoned them. Afghans trained by the U.S. who fought alongside us in battle day after day, are still being hunted down, tortured & beheaded today. The hell we left them is not over - it is never-ending. And the girls we inspired with dreams of equality and freedom? Their homes are once again prisons as the terrorists we said were reformed sent them back to the stone age. Many have been taken as 3rd or 4th wives, some of them just 8 or 9 years old. You can’t recruit people to stand up for an ideal that will not defend itself or an ideal that that has been disgraced and trampled. And I dare say that was probably the strategic goal of traitors like Milley, Austin, Biden & many other who have all this blood on their hands.
