Over the last 10 years, offending by children and young people (CYP) has reduced dramatically in NZ. Rates which measure the proportion who offend relative to the population declined by 63-65%. How amazing is that?

Turned 18 today and was suddenly transformed into an informed, responsible, politically engaged, member of society. I'm a completely diffrent person to yesterday and fully understand why we picked the arbitrary age of 18 as the point where our system decides your voice has worth.
Our Govt and institutions treat immigrants as commodities to make money out of without regard to their well-being. It’s dehumanising and exploitative. The discrimination by @AucklandUni and our Immigration system based on ill mental health and other disabilities has to end.
Good: Buying books.
Better: Reading the books you have before you buy more.
Best: Continuing to buy books until your stacks are so high they make an impenetrable fortress to protect you from the outside world.
NZ's new public landlord Kāinga Ora wants their tenant's data. They're installing home sensors which will be able to measure things like overcrowding, and whanau won't own (or even be able to see) what's collected from their homes.
