Not surprising about Mašetić, he looked calm and composed even last season and translated that tonight. At Zrinjski of all places too.

Horić disappointed, 2nd goal could have closed Ilić down quicker and lucky that the 3rd didn't stand. Wasn't overly impressed with Gogić either. I think Omić/Hodžić will come in for one of them soon.

FT Zrinjski 2:1 Čelik

Main objective achieved, which was to show a competitive face away to the vice-champions.

Ultimately some regret will be there given the chances we had in this game. Mašić, Mohedano, Sivac, and Sijamija all had opportunities to get us a 2nd, although Zrinjski spurned some good chances too.

Overall pleased with our performance and our discipline. 10 shots, 4 fouls, 0 yellows, good numbers for our opener back in the top flight.

Next up is Široki Brijeg at home on Friday. First PL game back at Bilino Polje in 6 years, hopefully a packed stadium.

We were organized defensively the first 25 mins but had 0 counter threat besides the Mašić chance at the beginning.

After their goal, we grew into the game more and got a nice goal on the break from Mašić.

Definitely looking competitive away to one of the best sides in the country. Only 2 fouls so far as well and 0 yellows.

Might have hit Barišić's arm and Karačić tugged Mašić's shirt right after.

Could definitely have been an argument for a PK, but it is what it is. Happy with our response to their goal.

He's our captain and it's the first league game, Omić will eventually take over but it makes sense for him to start here. Need that leadership and we'll probably defend deep most of the time so shouldn't get exposed for lack of pace or anything.

Overall I like the team, just wish Amoah had a spot in there. Bench is limited with Faraj, Popović, and Vidić all out.

Faraj got injured in traning unfortunately so Sijamija takes his place at LW. No Savić or Vidić (I assume didn't get registered yet) and Popović in the squad as well.

No real surprises otherwise, mostly the expected team based on pre-season lineups/performances. 4 of the new signings in the first 11.

Will be a tough game away to probably the best club in BiH during our 6-year absence. A result would be great but most important thing is to give a good account of ourselves and show that we belong in this league.

400 Robijaši expected in the stands. First PL game in 2,346 days, let's mark the special occasion with a strong showing!

Just think he didn't impress enough to get a contract. Keep in mind he played for PSG's U17 B team, not even their A team like our media would report. The club gave him a trial as a shot, but evidently he didn't do enough.

We'll see how he does at Velež but I don't think it's a loss for us as we're well covered at CB with Horić, Omić, Mašetić, and Hodžić anyhow.
