FROM PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER TO LECTURER OF ENGINEERING SCIENCE!
“My name is Matatizyo from Zambia. I am writing to share my testimony of how God has come through for me! In 2021, I graduated from University with Bachelors of Science in Physics. Immediately from there on, I started looking for a job which was related to what I studied in the University. I dropped various applications in both prominent and low-income companies. I managed to secure a job as a teacher at a Primary School. I was highly qualified to the point that the owner of the school stopped me after teaching for two days and started helping me find a job that was equivalent to my qualifications. She told me to write some applications so that she could take them for me to companies where she was familiar with managers. Unfortunately, all her efforts to connect me to a job didn't work out. I was getting so frustrated being the first born and first person in the family to have reached and graduated from University. My mother and siblings were looking up to me.

“In March 2022, I managed to secure an unpaid internship as a lecturer at one of the colleges situated in my home town, Livingstone. I worked for six months without pay. Late in 2022, I submitted a prayer request on God's Heart TV for God to bless me with a paying job so that I could look after my mother and find a place to rent together with my little sister whose schooling was interrupted with an early pregnancy. I needed a place to rent so that she could go back to school after bringing her from the village. After the Interactive Prayer Service with Brother Chris, I was given a part-time job and this time, I was being paid! And after working for three months, I signed a three years full-time contract as a lecturer of engineering science – to the glory of God! Right now, I am in my house and my sister will be starting schooling as soon as the school’s resume. I have also started studying for my Master’s Degree in Physics so that I widen my opportunity to lecture, even in university. Here is my advice: At God's appointed time, everything is beautiful. Until that time comes, keep holding on to Him. Better is not good enough; the best is always yet to come!”
